As part of huge relief to senior citizens who have to produce life certificate each year to continue receiving pension, a new scheme of Digital Life Certificate is now introduced. All Head Post Offices are now identified as Jeevan Pramaan Centers to give Digital Life Certificate to pensioners (State/Central). Bio metric authentication devices will be supplied to all HOs. Pensioner has to furnish Pension Payment Order, Adhar card, Mobile number and Bank Account number.
