As per Govt of India instructions, all Post Offices including BOs should no do any financial transactions including MPCM/PRS
reservation and SB etc on 9th Nov 2016(TODAY); ATM will be closed on 9 th Nov.
However delivery of all mails will be done except COD/ VP/ money order

TODAY Post office will not do any
money dealing. From 10th you can deposit 500&1000 notes in your
account without limit. If you want to exchange 500/1000 notes , you can
do so up to RS 4000 only per person that too on production of ID proof
