Notification for Postal Assistants - 2015

Accepting RRB examination fee



All e-Payment post offices are authorized to accept RRB examination fee w.e.f 27.06.2015.  Last date will be intimated later.  Applicant will bring a challan (which contains barcode) which is to be scanned to capture registration id, amount and applicant’s name.  The details can also be entered manually.  Examination fee is Rs.112- (including service tax).  Candidate can confirm their e-payment in www.karnatakapost.gov.in after 2 days of payment.  e-Payment communication should be run twice every day without fail.

Booking of TTD darshan tickets in all Post Offices



TTD authorities have consented for extension of issue of TTD Special Entry Darshan Tickets (Rs.300/-) through all computerized Post offices in A.P. Circle w.e.f. 01.07.2015.  The desktop/web application can be accessed only in SIFY network. Postal Operator needs to provide his mobile Number in desktop application. In order to Login to the web application, OTP (One Time Password) sent to mobile number needs to be provided along with web login credentials.

Discontinuance of Service e-MO for COD articles



With effect from 29-06-2015, it has to be ensured that all the Post offices should use Postman module only for handling the Parcel COD parcels and that they should not send any service eMOs/Paper money orders except the cases where there is a mismatch between the amount noted on the article and available in the electronic data.

A total of 2662+231+421 COD articles are pending in Post Offices in Anantapur Division based on booking data/receipt of request/receipt scan.
